The 2nd Langpangkongtsür Telongjem Mokokchung general conference was held on Saturday with Dr Sentitula IFS, DFO Mokokchung as guest speaker at Town Hall Mokokchung.

Dr Sentitula spoke on the theme “Wainshin Nung Ainba” which may be loosely translated as “growing up in civility.” She encouraged the Langpangkongtsur Telongjem Mokokchung womenfolk to grow and take initiatives, saying that “great people don’t wait for things to happen but make things happen.” She motivated the gathering to be creative and venture out and strive for excellence.

She further said that in order to achieve civility, one must practice integrity, love each other, work hard and love one’s own environment. She also encouraged the women to respect each other saying that “Until and unless you are a cultured person, you won’t be able to respect other people’s culture.”

Earlier in the program, L Atola Longkumer pronounced the invocation and President of Langpangkong Senso Telongjem addressed the gathering with words of encouragement.

In the program, Mongsenyimti Senso Tamang Telongjem, Mokokchung and Merangkongtsür Telongjem, Mokokchung presented special numbers.

  1. Hey there! I know this is kinda off topic however I’d figured I’d ask. Would you be interested in exchanging links or maybe guest writing a blog article or vice-versa? My website goes over a lot of the same subjects as yours and I feel we could greatly benefit from each other. If you might be interested feel free to send me an e-mail. I look forward to hearing from you! Terrific blog by the way!

  2. Howdy! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site? I’m getting fed up of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at options for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
