A one-day Road Safety Awareness Programme was hosted at Livingstone Foundation International on December 4, 2024. The programme, conducted as part of a CSR initiative by Honda Motorcycles & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd., was divided into three sessions for students from Grades I to XII.
The main speakers and resource persons for the event were Mr. Abhilash Singh, Area In-Charge, and Mr. Ravinder Kumar, Section Manager, Road Safety Training & Promotion, East Region, Honda Motorcycles & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. They were accompanied by Mr. Yakub Wanghu Konyak and Mr. Amit, Sales Consultants from Riven Honda, Dimapur.
The interactive sessions focused on various aspects of road safety and strategies to mitigate the causes of road accidents in India. The resource persons also elaborated on Honda’s vision of a collision-free society, where people can move freely, guided by their curiosity, with a sense of security and peace of mind.
The Road Safety Awareness Programme at Livingstone Foundation International also highlighted Honda’s April 2021 announcement of its goal to achieve zero fatalities in traffic accidents involving Honda motorcycles and automobiles worldwide by 2050. Honda aims to contribute to a collision-free society, not only as part of its social responsibility but also to realize a joyful future for all.
