Mokokchung, November 29 (MTNews): Little Friends Montessori, Tzüsapang, Mokokchung held its 6th Graduation Day with Hannah Brown, UK (the Imchen Family) as the guest speaker on Tuesday at the school premises.
During a brief interactive address, Hannah Brown emphasized the significance of parents in shaping and providing a firm foundation for their children. She also said that parents should spend time with their children, encourage them, and read to them. “Stories are one of the most valuable gifts we can offer our children,” she added.
She recommended parents to acquire narrative books in addition to toys for their children in order to establish and instill reading and writing habits, thus strengthening their foundation.
Moanungla, MGHSS Teacher, expressed thanks on behalf of the parents to the instructors for molding the preschoolers and providing a solid foundation for a bright future.
In terms of the Montessori school’s geographical location, she went on to note that it is in an ideal location in one’s own neighbourhood, which benefits the parents, the majority of whom are working parents.
During the program, Aienla Tzüdir, Proprietor & Teacher LFM conferred eight students as graduates: Susanna Pongen, Ananu Achumi, Washienla Imsong, Lensanir Mollier, Meyisunep, Jongsen, Tsungchir Imsong and Sunepmoa.
On the occasion, the school’s Academic Star Award was presented to Tsungchir Imsong (81%) and Meyisunep (79%) while Best Discipline Award was presented to Susanna Pongen and the Neat & Tidy Award was presented to Lensanir Mollier.
