Longleng, August 2 (MTNews): The Li Ning 44th Inter District & State Open Badminton Championship will be held from 22nd August 2022 to 27th August 2022 at Longleng District. An update from the organizers said that the total prize money will be Rs.3,62,000.00.
All together 14 categories will be played – Under -9 Boys & Girls Singles, Under-11 Boys & Girls Singles/Doubles, Under-13 Boys & Girls Singles/ Doubles, Under-15 Boys & Girls Singles/Doubles, Under-17 Boys & Girls Singles/Doubles, Under-19 Boys & Girls Singles/Doubles/Mixed Doubles, Senior Men & Women Singles/ Doubles/ Mixed Doubles, Masters Doubles in 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+ and 65+. Inter District Mix Team Championship will be for Juniors and Seniors only.
Last date of entry will be 18th August 2022 and draw for open categories will be done on 20th August 2022 at 4:00 pm. Tournament Shuttlecock will be Li Ning A2 feather shuttle.
Further, it was informed that the Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2022 for Badminton Event will be conducted at Longleng from 26th -27th August 2022 for Senior Men’s and Women’s – Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Mixed Team Championship. Last date of submission of players list is 6th August 2022 and draw will be on 7th August 2022.
For the first time in Nagaland, NBA will conduct the tournament paperless with Live Score, the update said.
