LI-NING 47th Nagaland State Sub-Junior

The Nagaland Badminton Association (NBA) successfully organized the LI-NING 47th Nagaland State Sub-Junior & Masters Badminton Championship 2025 at the K. Kire IPS Indoor Badminton Stadium, NAPTC, Chümoukedima. The tournament was held from September 30 to October 3.

The closing program was chaired by Dr. Alice Kenye, Joint Secretary of the NBA. The invocation was offered by Rev. Dr. P. Tali, followed by the presidential speech of Dr. Watizulu Süzümeren, President of the NBA and Vice President of the Badminton Association of India. A speech was delivered by the Special Guest, W. Chingang Konyak, MLA and Advisor for DUDA & Geology & Mining, Government of Nagaland, followed by concluding remarks from Er. Ichirang Zeliang, Convenor and Joint Secretary (Tournament), NBA. The program also featured an exhibition match between the Special Guest and NBA members, followed by the prize distribution ceremony.

Eight champions from Mokokchung at State Badminton Championship

Mokokchung district won eight championship titles and five runner-up titles in the LI-NING 47th Nagaland State Sub-Junior & Masters Badminton Championship 2025, organized by the Nagaland Badminton Association (NBA).

The Mokokchung district contingent comprised 30 players, accompanied by coach Bendangnochet and team manager Imosanen.
