Lions Club Dimapur Japfu organised a mega tree plantation drive on July 27 at Green Park, Dimapur, reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability and community service.
The event was attended by District Governor Dr Neena Dutta, along with Sumita Sharma, GST Coordinator, and Kakheli Zhimomi, Cabinet Secretary.
Guided by the District Governor, club members planted numerous trees across the park premises. To encourage wider public participation, the club also distributed free tree saplings to passersby, promoting a greener and healthier environment.
Club President Chibeni Ngullie expressed gratitude to the District Governor and thanked all club members for their active participation in making the community-driven environmental initiative a success.
