Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, B Henok Buchem, officially launched the FoodWiFi app at his office on July 10.

Speaking at the launch, FoodWiFi Chief Executive Officer Anato Sema said the app was developed to generate employment opportunities, particularly for students and unemployed youth. He said the platform would enable students to work as delivery partners after classes, allowing them to earn an income to support their education and assist their families.

Sema said the initiative also aims to provide a local alternative to national food delivery platforms by offering restaurants fair and sustainable service rates, thereby strengthening local businesses.
