Member of Parliament Lok Sabha and NPCC President, S Supongmeren Jamir, has emphasized the urgent need to restructure the Congress party’s working system in the state.
Addressing party workers during a thanksgiving program at Congress Bhavan in Kohima on Friday, 12 July, Jamir highlighted the necessity for party members to begin mobilizing across all 60 Assembly Constituencies and engage at the grassroots level to prepare for the next state general election in 2028. He emphasized the importance of mobilizing the party at both state and district levels to overcome their opponents.
Jamir urged Congress members to unite towards forming the next government in 2028, pledging to advocate for the people’s sentiments in Parliament.
