Under the Jubilee Theme “Shisaliok Nokiba (Nourishing Goodness in Education),” a simple yet grand program was organized on the 14th of May 2022, at Molu Ki, Kohima, with speaker I Meyionen Jamir, Chief Information Commissioner, Nagaland. Other speakers at the event were from Kohima Aor Telongjem, Ao Kaketshir Telongjem Kohima, Kohima Ongpangkong Kaketshir Telongjem, Longkhum Students Union, Longkhum.
In the year 1997, during the reign of Chungli Kosasanger Mongsen Medemjanger in Longkhum village, Longkhum Students’ Union Kohima was established under the able guidance and leadership of pioneers like K I Yanger (Advisor), Late Toshiyangba (Treasurer), Mokok Imchen (Finance Secretary), Late Imlila Imchen (President), I Nungsangtemjen (Vice President), Semsadangba (General Secretary) and Asapong Imchen (Assistant General Secretary), an update from LSU Kohima informed.
Delegates from Longkhum, Mokokchung, Kohima, Dimapur, Alichen and invitees from Ongpangkong range students unions took part in the programme.
