Wellness Center is best in Nagaland
51 Health Units from across Nagaland were awarded with “Clean Hospital Initiative” under Kayakalp Scheme for the year 2020-2021. The awards were distributed by Minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom at Kohima on Saturday.
Lauding the team members of the 51 Health Units for their commendable job, Pangnyu made an appeal to all working in the health sector to continue working relentlessly towards the betterment of the public health service. He said since 2015 till 2019, around 150 Hospitals in the state have been felicitated under this initiative.
To this, the Health Minister said the Health Units have further improved the infrastructure, logistics and the surroundings so as to create an enabling environment for the beneficiaries as well as provide quality health care. He also appealed to the community for their continued support towards the Medical Department as health is everyone’s concern.
District Hospital Phek was declared the best District Hospital and was awarded with 25 Lakh rupees. Kimipfüphe in Kohima bagged the best Primary Health Center with 2 lakh rupees, and Longmisa in Mokokchung received the best Health & Wellness Center with one lakh rupees.
District Hospital: 1st: Phek (Rs 25,00,000), 2nd: Dimapur (Rs 15,00,000), 3rd: Tuensang (Rs 10,00,000)
Commendation: Mon, Kiphire and Mokokchung (Rs 3,00,000) each
Community Health Centre: 1st CHC Bhandari (Rs 10,00,000)
Commendation: CHC Changtongya (Rs 1,00,000)
Best Primary Health Centre: PHC Kimipfuphe (Kohima), Mongsenyimti (Mokokchung), Wozhuro (Wokha), Longpang (Tuensang), Thuvopisu (Phek), Dungki (Peren), Yongnyah (Longleng), Changlangshu (Mon), Satakha (Zunheboto) and Likimro (Kiphire) Rs 2,00,000 each.
Commendation: Longkhum and Chuchuyimlang (Mokokchung), Sitimi (Kiphire), Athibung (Peren), Khonoma, Botsa and Chunlikha (Kohima), Ruzazho and Dzulhami (Phek), Chukitong and Nyiro (Wokha), Chare (Tuensang), Chümoukedima, Suruhuto (Zunheboto) and Tamlu (Longleng) Rs 50,000 each.
Best Health & Wellness Centre-SC: Longmisa (Mokokchung), Samzuiram (Peren), Thizama (Kohima), Phek Village (Phek), Changsu (Wokha) and Diphupar- B (Dimapur) Rs 1, 00,000 each.
Commendation: Longkong and Sungratsu (Mokokchung), Jotsoma – Science College (Kohima), Mesulumi (Phek), Pongidong (Wokha) and Naga United (Dimapur) Rs 25,000 each.
Urban Primary Health Centre: UPHC Mokokchung, UPHC Seikhazou and UPHC Potterlane (Kohima), UPHC Duncan and UPHC Burma Camp (Dimapur) Rs 50,000 each.
