Wokha, 10 June (MTNews): The Lotha Youth Hoho (LYH) has extended its support to the Joint Action Committee (JAC), Wokha Village Youth Organization (WVYO) in their efforts to promote the ongoing 2-lane road construction project on National Highway 2 (erstwhile NH 61).
The LYH, in a statement, appealed to all conscientious citizens and organizations of Wokha District to provide their utmost help and cooperation towards the progress of the road construction project on NH 2 from 72.40 km to 83.00 km, passing through the District Headquarters Wokha Town.
Recognizing the significance of the project for the development and welfare of the community, the LYH emphasized the need for collective efforts to ensure its successful completion.
The LYH also called upon the District administration, the Public Works Department (National Highways), and the contractor TTC Infra India to resolve the matter at the earliest for the common welfare of the public which was initiated by JAC, WVYO as per the Detail Project Report (DPR).
Further, the LYH acknowledged the JAC, WVYO for taking bold initiative and assured full cooperation with regard to NH 2 (NH 61).
