Mokokchung, 26 August: The main electrical line at the Nature Park area in Ungma has been damaged due to a landslide, resulting in a temporary power outage. The Sub Divisional Officer (SDO) of Mokokchung Electrical Sub-Division informed Mokokchung Times that electricity supply to the affected areas including Mokokchung Town will remain suspended until repairs are completed.
According to the SDO, the repair work is scheduled to take place on 27 August, with efforts being made to restore power supply as quickly as possible. “We will try to repair [it] as early as possible tomorrow if the weather is good,” the SDO stated.
