The Mangkolemba Sub-divisional District Planning and Development Board (SDPDB) convened its monthly meeting at the customary court, ADC office complex, Mangkolemba, on 29th April 2025.

The meeting was chaired by the Advisor for Transport and Technical Education & Chairman of SDPDB, Temjenmenba.

During the proceedings, Temjenmenba took the opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of two HSLC toppers from the sub-division: Wapangnaro Longkumer, who secured the 7th rank, and Longcharenla Longchar, who ranked 12th in the HSLC Examination 2025.

He also presented a report assessing the socio-economic conditions of Changtongya, Tuli, and Mangkolemba towns in Mokokchung, which was prepared by the Department of Economics, Nagaland University, under his initiative.

Addressing the agenda item regarding the request for a technician post and the construction of an X-ray room at the Community Health Centre (CHC), ADC Moakumzuk Tzudir emphasized the need for more doctors and technical personnel to adequately meet the healthcare needs of the community.

Additionally, the board discussed the construction of an approach-cum-bypass road at JNV Longnak and the development of a school auditorium at the Government Higher Secondary School in Mangkolemba to support the holistic development of students.

The ADC also highlighted the urgent need for the appointment of a Sub-Divisional Officer under the Public Health Engineering Department, as well as Junior Engineers for several administrative circles, to enhance service delivery and public convenience.
