Mokokchung, 22 July (MTNews): The Mangmetong Students’ Union Mokokchung (MSUM) organized a “Socio-Cultural Tour” to Mangmetong Village on Saturday as a prelude to its Platinum Jubilee Celebration which is due to be held in the month of October 2023.
The event was organized under the theme “Our Culture, Our Identity.” As part of the program, the students took a tour around the village after which they gathered at the Village Community Hall where they were further enriched on various aspects of culture and traditions such as exogamy and traditional attires of both men & women.
The resource persons for the program were Talimeren Tzudir, T Mendang Imchen and Mangmetong Watsü Telen.
