Mokokchung, September 13 (MTNews): A new filling station, HSD & M/S Marcofed Retail Outlet under Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) was inaugurated at Arkong ward, Mokokchung by Dr. M. Chuba Ao, Chairman, Marcofed Ltd, Nagaland on Tuesday.
Marcofed Ltd. Nagaland Chairman, Dr. M. Chuba Ao in his speech stated that HSD and Marcofed Mokokchung Retail Outlet is the fifth HPCL filling station in Nagaland. He stated that Marcofed Nagaland is entering the oil and gas business and that it is ensuring that there is no adulteration in fuel as well as accurate measurement of fuel while keeping the density of the fuel in check.
He also stated that Marcofed as a brand believes in “high-quality fuel with right quantities.” He also urged the Proprietor, Imtimar Jamir, to deliver quality service to the public and praised the ward authorities for their pledge in providing total security.
Earlier, at a brief inaugural ceremony, Nungshilepden Jamir, Chairman Ungma Village Council; A Bendang Jamir, Chairman Arkong Ward; and Temjensangba Longkumer, Chairman Mongsenbai Ward delivered short speeches.
There are now 6 filling stations in and around Mokokchung town catering to the ever growing number of vehicles.
