The GPRN/NSCN, under the leadership of its senior Naga Army officials, held a Mass Reunion program at its General Headquarters in Khehoi Camp. The NSCN (Kitovi) group, through its MIP, shared that this gathering marked a crucial step toward overcoming internal divisions that had persisted for the past 11 months due to “interference from unwanted elements.”

The reunion was attended by top brass officers from both factions, “symbolizing a crucial turning point in their efforts to overcome recent challenges and re-establish their collective mission,” it said.
The event was highlighted by an official handshake between Chief of Army, Maj General Kiyehe Yepthomi, and Brigadier Kiyeto Zhimomi of GSO-1, aiming to mend the relationships and also to strengthen their strategic direction moving forward, demonstrating their commitment to the Naga cause.
“More than 200 GPRN/NSCN Naga Army members came together with a message for all Nagas,” it said, adding, “Too many lives have been lost in the hand of Naga brothers and Indian Army as well, while defending our Nation, today it is in our hands to steadfastly stand as one and do the immediate needful for our Nation”.
According to the statement, “They courageously gathered to be witnesses and a testament for all Naga political groups by shaking hands among brothers to march forward with grit and honour no matter how difficult the journey maybe for peace and harmony, which would send a powerful message across Nations and a strong step towards early Indo-Naga political solution”.
