A massive landslide has occurred along Officers’ Compound Road in Forest Ward, Kiphire town, following continuous heavy rainfall in the area.
The landslide has damaged the road and raised concerns among residents, as several houses in the vicinity are now at risk.
Residents said the situation is becoming increasingly dangerous and poses a threat to lives and property. They urged the concerned authorities to take immediate measures to prevent further damage.
They also appealed for swift intervention before additional houses collapse or any loss of life occurs.
