The Mayangnokcha Award Trust (MAT) on Thursday announced that the 31stedition of the Mayangnokcha Awards Presentation Ceremony for academic excellence will be held on 8 October 2024 at the Christian Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, Nagaland. This is the Second time that the Award presentation ceremony is being held in Dimapur, a press release from MAT informed.
Established in 1993, the MAT has been awarding the HSLC toppers conducted by the NBSEwith a vision and mission to further quality education in the State. The MAT recognizes, honour and encourage the meritorious Naga students of Nagaland. It also aims to create spirit of healthy competition among the students in the field of education in order for them to bring out their best and worth, thereby improve the overall standard of education. With these vision in view, the trust has instituted the Awards.
This year, a total of seven awards instituted by the trust for toppers in HSLC conducted by the NBSE (2024) will be given away. Recipients will be honoured with a memento, a certificate and a cash component.
Cherakung Zeliang, IFS, Regional Passport Officer & Head of Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India, Branch Secretariat, North East will grace the Ceremony as special guest.
The MAT has invited all well-wishers to the event and to pray for yet another befitting presentation ceremony.
