The Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) on Thursday, 18 July 2024, handed over a sum of Rs 676,700 to the victims of the MMC Shopping Complex fire accident that occurred on 3 February 2024, in which 59 shops were completely razed and several others severely damaged. The donation, inclusive of Rs 164,000 contributed by well-wishers through the MCCI, was handed over to the beneficiaries at the MMC Conference Hall.
