On July 5, 2022, the Mokokchung District Badminton Association celebrated World Badminton Day, appreciating the sport that is practiced all around the world.
A brief ceremony was held, attended by members of the MDBA as well as campers in the ongoing MDBA annual Summer Coaching Camp, where 88 Boys and Girls are participating, which runs from June 20th to July 20th, 2022.
The Camp’s Chief Coach is Joseph Sumi, BWF Coach, while the Assistant Coaches are Bendangnochet, Temsuyanger, and Sashiwapang.
