In an effort to promote the Nagaland Super League and encourage players from the district to play for the teams in the league, the Mokokchung District Football Association (MDFA) will organize an exclusive live screening of the crucial third playoff match between Longterok FC and Nagaland United SC at Imlong Place, Mokokchung, on March 29, 2025. The screening will commence at 7:00 PM.
“This initiative aims to provide football enthusiasts and supporters of both Longterok FC and Nagaland United SC a unique opportunity to come together and rally behind their teams,” the MDFA said in a press release.
The MDFA added that both teams have been playing with passion and excellence in this league and that the live screening seeks to celebrate the clubs’ journey in the Nagaland Super League.
Football fans, community members, and well-wishers are invited to attend the live screening and show their support as the two teams battle for a spot in the final.
Organizers hope the event will strengthen the football culture in Mokokchung and inspire young players to aim for higher levels in the sport.
