The third quarterfinal encounter between Mongsenbai FC and Revenant FC saw the former dominate the game through and through as they capitalized on their experience and physique against the inexperienced debutants and underdogs.
Vinoka Aye (33′, 62′, 70′) and Imnatoshi (67′, 85′, 86′) scored hat tricks, while Ayimnukshi, Lolenyuba, and Limakumzuk (12′, 38′, 50′) each scored a goal for the Mongsenbai FC.
Mongsenbai tormented the Revenant side throughout the whole 90-minute affair and were able to do so most effectively as the team went on to win the match 9-0.
Mongsenbai FC advanced to the semifinals, where they will face the winner of the Q4 match between Telongjem FC and O.C.Y.U on 24th October at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex in Mokokchung.
