Konyak Students’ Union Mokokchung to face Sports Society Soyim in tournament opener
The Mokokchung District Football Association (MDFA) has on Friday announced the fixtures of the much anticipated MDFA Trophy 2023. The inaugural match of the tournament will be played between Konyak Students’ Union Mokokchung (KSUM) and the Sports Society Soyim (SSS) on 17 October, Tuesday at Imkongmeren Sports Complex. The match will kick off after the opening ceremony scheduled at 1:00 pm.
There will be a total of 25 matches in the tournament with 18 of them being played in the group stages.
The top two teams from each pool after the group stages will proceed to the quarter-finals.
Entry tickets for the tournament will be Rs 50 per match day during the league round which will be nominally enhanced as the tournament progresses. However, entry will be free on the inaugural day.
