Kohima, 24 October (MTNews): Abu Metha, advisor to CM Rio announced today on X that the Medanta group has signed an MoU with the Nagaland government for accreditation to the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS). According to Metha, this MoU has enabled the state’s citizens to get access to world-class healthcare.

Global Health Limited (Medanta) is the largest multi-specialty tertiary care provider in the North and East region of India in terms of bed capacity (2,467 installed beds). It delivers advanced, affordable end-to-end healthcare in Delhi, Gurugram, Indore, Ranchi, Patna, and Lucknow through its network of five hospitals, six Mediclinics, diagnostic laboratories, home care, and telemedicine services.

Metha extended a warm welcome to the Chairman and Managing Director of Medanta, Dr Naresh Trehan, present alongside Joint Resident Commissioner, Wennyei Konyak.

Metha further informed that the meeting served as a platform for extensive discussions on potential future collaborations and partnerships.

In addition to the discussions, Advisor Metha expressed his delight in meeting Dr. Manpa Phom, an individual who is currently pursuing an advanced super-specialist course in cardiology.
