Medemer Fund organizes Futsal Tournament to raise funds for charity

Kohima, 28 July (MTNews): The Medemer Fund is organizing “The Henosis Cup” a two-day futsal tournament on 28 & 29 July at Niathu Sports Complex, Kohima as a fundraiser for its charity initiatives.

 

Medemer Fund is committed to helping children from less privileged backgrounds who are forced to abandon their education due to poverty or to work and provide for the family. Working to ensure that education is a privilege for every child, they are dedicated to bringing about change and empowering children with skills and knowledge by financially helping their parents/guardians pay for their education, setting up libraries, and providing training on self-reliant skills.

The fund also deals with mental health issues by offering free counseling sessions to those that require help.

 

The tournament is being organized to support these activities, which was kicked off by Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS Secretary to Governor. Other guests included Theja Meru, Chairman TaFMA, and Dr Hovithal Sothu, Project Director TaFMA.
