Under the aegis of the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Kohima, under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, a seven-day media tour to south Bihar for journalists from Nagaland commenced on March 16.

The team departed from Dimapur Airport and is scheduled to return on March 22.
The tour aims to provide local media the opportunity to observe the implementation of various government schemes, cover key programmes of different ministries, interact with journalists from other regions and gain an understanding of the socio-economic and cultural aspects of other states.
The team comprises representatives from the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) and members of print and electronic media organisations, led by officials from PIB Kohima.
