The Nagaland Government has discontinued all Outside State Treatment & Medical Reimbursement systems for its employees with immediate effect. The government informed that it was discontinued following the implementation of the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) by extending Health Insurance to all State Government employees and their dependents from 1st of October this year.
However, it was informed that the ongoing treatment or under treatment may continue till discharged subject to settlement of medical reimbursement bill within 6 months w.e.f. 1 Oct 2022.
