Mokokchung, June 20 (MTNews): Two officials from the Center, Deepak Srivastava (IOFS), Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, and Mustafa, Deputy Director, National Water Commission held a meeting with the District Level Committee for Jal Shakti Abhiyan at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Room, Mokokchung today. Jal Shakti Abhiyan is a time-bound mission-mode water conservation campaign.
The meeting began with Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh, IAS, welcoming all the officials that was followed by PowerPoint presentations from the departments of Forests, Land Resources, Agriculture, Horticulture, PHED and Rural Development in the district.
On June 21, the team will be visiting different locations where departmental activities have been implemented in the district.
