Mokokchung, 16 September (MTNews): The District Urban Development Agency (DUDA) and the Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) held a meeting today 16 September 2023 at MMC Conference Hall to discuss the disbursement target for PM Street Vendors Self-Reliant Fund (PM SVANidhi), which is a special micro-credit scheme for street vendors.
ADC & Chairman, DUDA, Mokokchung, Chumlamo Humtsoe, in his address, maintained that the Scheme would benefit the street vendors who were affected by to Covid-19 pandemic to resume their livelihood.
Bank Managers from different banks who attended the meeting assured their willingness to provide loans to genuine beneficiaries with proper documentation. The program was also attended by a good number of street vendors.
