Wokha, 8 June (MTNews): The Combined Annual Training Camp for NCC Cadets affiliated with the 25 Naga Bn NCC has commenced at the Assam Rifles Campus in Wokha, Nagaland. More than 520 enthusiastic cadets from various districts, including Kohima, Dimapur, Mokokchung, Mon, Tuensang, Longleng, Shamator, Noklak, Wokha, Phek, Peren, Chumukedima, and Kiphire, are actively participating in this mega camp.

 

Stringent Covid-19 screening measures were conducted prior to their entry. The day commenced with a Mass Yoga Demonstration. Various activities focusing on personality development, blood donation awareness, and career guidance are planned. The camp aims to provide holistic training and guidance to the cadets, contributing to their overall growth.

 

 

Camp Commandant Col CST Swamy of 25 Naga Bn NCC highlighted the camp’s focus on personality development, including etiquette training, public speaking, blood donation awareness, and career counseling. NCC is collaborating with industry leaders to provide subsidized training and job opportunities in the airline, hospitality, and security sectors.

 

 

Swamy mentioned that Career guidance for the National Defence Academy, Combined Defence Services Exam, and NCC Special Entry scheme will be provided. Dr Nzanthung Nguillie from the District Hospital delivered a presentation on voluntary blood donation, inspiring students to save lives.
