The Deputy Commissioner of Niuland has informed all concerned that a mega plantation drive will be conducted in honor of the girl child (ages 0 to 10 years) from 1st February to 31st March 2025 under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Mission Shakti initiative.
In this connection, the DC stated that a total of five (5) trees will be planted for each girl child (ages 0 to 10 years). A date-time stamped photo, along with the name, date of birth of the girl child, name of the parent, and name of the village, must be submitted via WhatsApp to 6909803445.
Applicants are required to take care of the five (5) planted trees throughout the year and send the final date-time stamped photos of the trees to the same WhatsApp number between 1st and 15th December 2025.
Furthermore, the winners of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes will receive cash awards, along with twenty (20) consolation prizes. The results will be declared on 20th December 2025.
This initiative is applicable only to the citizens of Niuland District.
