Mez & Co and Sadar Hills FA recorded impressive victories in their respective matches on the second day of the ongoing 25th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2025 at IG Stadium, Kohima.
In the first match, Mez & Co achieved a dominant 17–0 win over Kohima Bible College. Thokchom Adison Singh (jersey no. 17) scored eight goals in the 8th, 12th, 20th, 27th, 38th, 41st, 71st, and 76th minutes. Jangjagen Kuki (no. 11) added four goals in the 26th, 30th, 36th, and 74th minutes. Menguzelie Rutsa (no. 5) scored twice in the 33rd and 42nd minutes, Haokhohen Without (no. 2) netted one in the 45th minute, L. Thangkholen Khonsal (no. 3) scored in the 29th minute, and Yitachuthipetor (no. 28) completed the tally in the 85th minute. Thokchom Adison Singh was adjudged Man of the Match, and the award was presented by Eno Sedeneikho Shosahie, former Vice President of the Angami Students’ Union.
In the second match, Sadar Hills FA, Manipur, overpowered Wolves 13–0. Lengou Thang (no. 15) and Ngamchinlen (no. 17) both registered hat-tricks, scoring in the 4th, 27th, and 59th minutes, and in the 29th, 31st, and 62nd minutes respectively. Obed (no. 10) opened the account in the 6th minute, followed by Longougin (no. 30) in the 36th, Gary (no. 6) in the 38th, and Lamgunmang (no. 7) in the 71st minute. Lonkhungam (no. 20) scored in the 74th, Lalneo (no. 13) in the 76th, and Lunminthang (no. 5) in the 78th minute to complete the scoreline.
