The MGM College Alumni Association organised a Talent Hunt Programme at MGM College on August 29, providing students with a platform to showcase their creativity, confidence and stage presence. The programme was attended by the principal, faculty members, alumni, guests and students.
Principal Dr R. K. Behera encouraged students to participate actively in such programmes and make use of opportunities to discover and develop their abilities. He said talent, when combined with confidence, discipline and dedication, could contribute to personal and professional growth.
The competition featured a variety of performances before the audience and a panel of alumni judges. Mr Manzen P. Konyak of Semester V, Education, secured first position, followed by Mr Apili of Semester I, English, in second position and Miss Eyilobeni T. Ngullie of Semester V, Sociology, in third position.
The Education Department won the Best Department Performance award.
The programme concluded with the felicitation of the winners. The association said the event reflected its commitment to nurturing student talent and strengthening engagement between the college, alumni and student community.
