The Department of History at MGM College successfully organized an Inter-Departmental Quiz Quest on 12 September 2025, providing a platform for intellectual engagement and healthy competition. Sponsored by Mahendra’s Institute, Dimapur, the event saw participation from 14 students representing seven departments, who showcased their knowledge and quick-thinking skills.
After a series of challenging rounds, the Economics Department secured the first position with participants L. Annastacia Dangshawa and Diya Sangma, earning a cash prize of Rs 1,500 along with certificates and pens. The Commerce Department, represented by Tripti and Laksmi, claimed the second position, winning Rs 1,000, while the Political Science Department team of Angel Tamang and Rose Debbarma finished third with Rs 500.
All participants were awarded certificates and pens in recognition of their efforts. The Department of History expressed gratitude to Mahendra’s Institute for sponsoring the event and thanked the faculty, staff, and students whose support and enthusiasm contributed to the success of the Quiz Quest.
