Mokokchung, October 21 (MTNews): MH-10 (Senior) emerged as the champions in the recently concluded Open Volleyball Tournament organized by Aonukpu Students’ Union at Aonokpu village. The open volleyball tournament began on October 19, 2022 and concluded on Friday, October 21, 2022.
Sporting Club Aonokpu, which had regular players from Changtongya team, once again lost their championship match against MH-10 (Senior) as if to foment the rivalry in Nagaland Volleyball. Meanwhile, MH-10 (Junior) secured the third place.
The winners were awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 50,000. In the individual players’ awards, Reshitemjen (MH-10) was awarded the Best Spiker while Tongpangsunep (MH-10) was awarded the Best Setter. Player of the Tournament award went to Imkongsanen of Sporting Club Aonukpu.
