The Ministry of Tourism has sanctioned the development of various infrastructures for the upgradation of Molungkimong Church, Nagaland under the PRASHAD scheme. This was informed on X (formerly Twitter) by the ministry on Saturday. The ministry said that it formulated the ‘Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Augmentation Drive’ (PRASHAD) scheme in line with the vision of the Prime Minister for promoting Spiritual Tourism.

“Project sanctioned under PRASHAD scheme will successfully enhance the tourist experience through development of various amenities such as Illumination of Church, Interpretation Centre, Public Convenience, Parking Facility, Approach Road, Retaining wall and Signages,” it was informed.
