Wokha, December 6 (MTNews): In view of road blockade caused due to deposits of mud and rock debris along NH-02 and overhanging boulders which is an imminent threat to the lives of passersby, the Deputy Commissioner of Wokha has on Tuesday issued a traffic advisory stating that it is required to urgently execute road clearance work at the stretch of NH-02 at Soaphen area in Wokha district. Therefore, all forms of vehicular movement from Wokha Zero Point to Hammock Resort shall remain closed from 7:00 AM of December 10 till 7:00 AM of December 12, it was informed.
As such, all medium and light vehicle travelers on Mokokchung-Wokha-Kohima route have been advised to use the Alichen-Mangmetong-Doyang Reservoir-Wokha Zero Point diversion route during the said closure period.
