The Phek Village Citizens’ Union Phek Town (PVCUPT) held its get-together at the Royal Foundation School premises in Phek town on January 7, with MLA Kuzholuzo Azo Nienu gracing the programme.

Addressing the gathering, Azo said that if a person is guided by the Bible, “things cannot go wrong or one will not be misled.” He added, “Once you are guided by the principles of the living words, our habits, our behavior of approach to the things within and around you will totally changed,” noting that such guidance fosters honesty and trustworthiness, ultimately leading to success.
Referring to the Phek village population in Phek town, he said the community should set an example by spreading love, care and support while remaining humble and grounded. He also expressed happiness that a sense of unity and oneness had developed naturally among the people.
Greetings were shared by Dr Kuvezochi Hoshi, while Nesucho Kezo and Khutsieyi Vero exhorted the gathering. The programme featured special numbers and concluded with a vote of thanks by Khosapa Venuh.
