Mokokchung, 8 November (MTNews): The Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) as part of the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0 initiative has appealed to the Hindu community residing within Mokokchung municipal jurisdiction to celebrate the ensuing Diwali festival with a difference under the theme ‘Swachh Diwali Shubh Diwali’.
In this regard, the MMC has requested all to use eco-friendly local products and refrain from using firecrackers to make this Diwali a “Single Use Plastic and Pollution Free” event.
