Mokokchung, 31 March (MTNews): The Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) has directed all the shops selling tobacco products that they should display a board in their shops inscribed with the words, “Tobacco products will not be sold to any persons below the age of 18 years.”
Further, it was informed that no shop shall sell tobacco products within a 100-meter perimeter of a school.
“This is for strict compliance, failure in doing so shall invite appropriate penalty,” ADC and Administrator, MMC, Chumlamo Humtsoe stated in the notification.
