The Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) has announced the renewal schedule for shop and trade permits for the financial year 2025-2026. Tenants operating under MMC market buildings and trade permit holders within the Mokokchung municipal jurisdiction are required to renew their permits as per the scheduled dates in April and May 2025.
According to the notification issued by Chumlamo Humtsoe, ADC & Chief Executive Officer, MMC, the nominal fees and taxes for all businesses will be enhanced from the current financial period. Additionally, a new shop category, A+, has been introduced for businesses such as departmental stores, big-box stores, and hypermarkets.

R/G, Cobbler, & NST Pen Sellers: April 3 & 4, 2025
