Mokokchung, 5 December (MTNews): The Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) has informed all the shop owners in Mokokchung town not to sell firecrackers and firework items. It was further informed that the sale of raffle, calendars, or any kind of fundraising activities in the form of donations to the shopkeepers by any public or any organizations are banned within the jurisdiction of MMC.
In this regard, all the ward authorities have been requested to strictly implement the restrictions within their respective wards.
