The Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) has issued an order mandating the use of digital weighing machines at all fish stalls operating within its jurisdiction. The order, which comes into effect on March 1, 2025, requires all fish stall owners to procure and install digital weighing machines by the specified date.
In a notification released by the MMC, the council emphasized that failure to comply with the order would result in appropriate penalties.
