The Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) will be formally launching the Swacchata Hi Seva campaign 2024 on September 17 along with the rest of the country which will culminate on October 2, commemorating the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
As a prelude to the Swacchata Hi Seva campaign 2024, MMC has kicked off a series of pre-rollout activities since September 14 by undertaking cleanliness drives. MMC has also distributed PPE kits to its sanitation workers.
MMC has also identified a total of 26 Cleanliness target units (CTU) across 11 wards under the Mokokchung municipality which will be cleaned and beautified on September 16 as part of the pre-rollout activities for the Swacchata Hi Seva campaign 2024.
