The Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) has announced the commencement of a weekly ‘Thursday Bazaar’ at the Old Town Hall Market, Mokokchung, starting from March 6, 2025.
To protect the interests of customers and prevent any malpractice in the weighing of meat, fish, vegetables, and other items sold at the market, the MMC has installed a public weighing scale for customer use.
The MMC has urged all shoppers at the ‘Thursday Bazaar’ to check the weight of their purchases using this public scale to ensure they receive fair and accurate quantities.
