Kohima, March 16 (MTNews): With the oncoming second cycle of National Assessment and Accreditation Council Peer Team visit to Model Christian College, Kohima, drawing nearer, a ‘mock peer team visit programme’ was conducted on the 11th of March, 2022 as a preparatory drill for faculty members, staff and students. The mock assessment was conducted in collaboration with Modern College, Kohima. Dr. Vitsou Yano, principal, along with two other Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) members of Modern College were the mock peer assessors.
The mock assessment began with presentation from the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college which was followed by presentation of reports by all the ten departments. Interaction sessions followed whereby various cells, clubs, committees and administrative staffs in the institution interacted with the mock peer team. The mock peer team also paid onsite visit to support facilities available in the college such as canteen, medical room, students’ lounge, teachers’ lounge, Girls’ common room, gym, etc.
