Model Christian College NCC SW and SD successfully organized Swachhata Hi Seva on 2 October 2024. The purpose of this cleanliness drive at Dzükou Valley focused mainly on preserving the natural environment and protecting wildlife habitats.


A total of 26 students participated in the expedition, accompanied by Chief Training Officer Elchenu Esther Kera.

The objectives of a cleanliness drive included: Promoting environmental conservation and awareness among people; protecting wildlife by ensuring their habitats are clean and safe; being mindful of the surrounding and restoring back its beauty; examine designated areas to better understand the effects of human activities on nature; and advocating for sustainable habits such as reducing plastic use and promoting recycling.

This drive not only focused on cleaning the area but also aimed to foster a sense of responsibility towards the environment among participants and the community.
