Kohima, 29 July (MTNews): The Model Christian College, Kohima held its annual Parents/Guardians Forum (PGF) & Teachers’ Meet on 29 July in the college auditorium. The program was moderated by Sashi Molier, Secretary, PGF, and started with an invocation of God’s blessings by Asangla Francis. The Managing Director of the college, SP Francis, exhorted the parents and teachers to work together in fostering responsible citizenship. Dr Luke Rymbai, Principal, highlighted the new academic curriculum and stressed the importance of the new education system. A special song was performed by Asenla Jamir, Asst. Prof. (History).
The event also provided a platform for feedback and interaction between the parents and teachers from different departments. The program concluded with a vote of thanks from Caroline Shilena, Jt. Secy, PGF, and the closing prayer was pronounced by Kajiini Karang, Treasurer, PGF.
