Mokokchung, 10 April (MTNews): In view of the General Election to the 18th Lok Sabha 2024, Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Mokokcung, Thsuvisie Phoji has informed that the third phase training of all polling personnel has been scheduled to be held on 15 April.
It was informed that the training for Presiding Officer (both male and female) will be conducted on 15 April from 9:30 AM, and training for first polling officers (both male and female) will start from 12:00 noon, at Mayangnokcha GHSS, Mokokchung. Further, training of second polling officers (both male and female) will start from 01:00 PM and third polling officers (both male and female) will start from 2:00 PM at Mayangnokcha GHSS, Mokokchung.
He also stated that all the concerned departmental Nodal Officers are strictly directed to inform all requisitioned officials of their respective departments regarding the aforementioned training schedule.
Strict action shall be initiated against absentees as per Section 134 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951.
