The Adventure and Motorsports Association Mokokchung (AMAM) will organise the 9th Auto and MotoX event along with the Northeast Championship Round 2026 at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung, from February 5 to 7, 2026.
The event will feature Autocross and MotoX competitions and forms part of the Northeast motorsports calendar. Autocross categories include Open, Below 1300cc, and SUV. MotoX categories include Beginner and Open. Participants from motor and moto clubs across Nagaland and other Northeastern states are expected to compete.
The total prize pool for the event is Rs 3.50 lakh, along with trophies and certificates. The competition will also count as a qualifying round of the Northeast Championship 2026.
According to the schedule, scrutiny and technical inspection for all participants will be held on February 5. Autocross events will take place on the morning of February 6 and will be flagged off by Imkumwapang, District Transport Officer, Mon, as inaugural patron. MotoX events will follow in the afternoon and will be inaugurated by Longden Longkumer, Managing Director of LL Group Nagaland. Final runs and the prize distribution ceremony will be held on February 7, with Wangpang Konyak, Advisor for Social Welfare, attending as special guest.
